Infineer's smartcard based solutions for education and corporate facilitate card based payment for a wide variety of services typically found on both corporate and education sites.
A cash value is loaded onto the cards and they are then used to pay for on-site purchases, including restaurant and vending machine purchases, as well as payment for
usage of office equipment such as photocopiers and IT resources including networked printing. The Infineer smartcard
solution facilitates time-related user entitlements including subsidies, discounts and other allowances. This aspect of the solution has proved particularly useful in schools where those pupils entitled to a "free meal'"
